This is the old post. I should be posting this on July but why, i just keep postpone it.
Yeah, I am writing about whether i should convert to PhD or just stay another semester to finish my MSc.
The Pros:
1-By 2 years from now i am going to get a Dr title.
2-New grant worth million! and i contribute some brain on it.
Cons:
1-I have to 'work' more with my Prof, which i would prefer not to...anymore.
2- I have to involve full time with patients recruitment, clinic and so and it may not so easy to get 400 patients in 2 years and analyzing another 3 genes with several curricular activities.
3- I still have not enough knowledge and i feel not eligible to be called Dr. [unless i am super genius, i prefer myself to be have more experience to be called that name ^_^]
The truth anyway:
This same race institution have killed my fighting side and i feel not energetic because there is lack of competition around..hmm~
Decision made:
Why don't i just finished what i have now start focusing. So i told Prof that i am not going to involved with the science part of her 'new 3.1 million' grant..not anymore since my study have gone 'longkang' already.
[my research study dateline was keep moving by Prof since she need me to help her around with the grant, and i don't like it at all.]
And this is how I am going to finished my study:
Working hard by this semester, starting after 'hari raya'..which means, now by aiming to have my graduation day next year.
Oh~ in a mean while, i shall think about my PhD proposal & apply for SPA.
[yeah, i've bounded already with goverment]
